5th Panhellenic Data Analysis Conference with International Participation

10-12 September 2009, Rethymno, Crete, Greece

Dear Colleagues,

We are honored to invite you to the 5th Panhellenic Data Analysis Conference with International Participation, which will take place on 10-12 September 2009 in Rethymno, Crete (Greece). The conference is organized by the Greek Society of Data Analysis in co-operation with the Department of Political Science, University of Crete.

The conference will focus on the recent theoretical developments and applications of Clustering, Classification and Data Analysis. The scientific program will include sessions with invited talks and contributed presentations from a broad range of topics. Special emphasis will be laid on interdisciplinary research and the interaction between theory and practice.

Invited and Special Interest Sessions:

- Correspondence Analysis and Related Methods

All participants are invited to submit a 1-page abstract on the listed topics for presentation as oral contributions. Deadline for abstract submission is March 31th April 15th 2009. Authors will be notified about the acceptance and presentation modalities within May 31st 2009. Single page plain text abstracts should be submitted electronically before the deadline at iannis@uom.gr or amarkos@uom.gr

The Organising Committee can arrange special accommodation rates for international speakers. Please e-mail full name, credentials and institution.

Important dates:

Submission of 1-page abstracts: March 31th 15 April 2009
Acceptance decision: 31 May 2009
Conference: 10-12 September 2009
Submission of full papers: 15 December 2009

Publication:

Full papers will be considered for publication in one or more peer-reviewed issues of Data Analysis Bulletin, the academic journal published by the Greek Society of Data Analysis.
